Police are investigating the death of a 39-year-old woman whose body was found Tuesday morning. Reply SOUTH HEMPSTEAD, NY — Nassau County police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found lying outside a store in South Hempstead Tuesday morning. Police received a call at 7:40 a.m. for a woman lying on the ground next to a dumpster in the back of Advanced Auto Parts, located at 1140 Grand Ave. in South Hempstead. The 39-year-old woman, whose last known address was in Hempstead, was pronounced dead at the scene.
