Investigation at the scene revealed Deaquan Dunham, 25, to be intoxicated and found to be in possession of an illegal .22 caliber revolver. On Monday, October 2, 2023, just before 2:00 AM, Troopers were dispatched to a report of vehicle stopped in the lane on the eastbound Southern State Parkway at the Exit 13 entrance ramp, town of Hempstead, NY. Upon arrival, Troopers observed the driver, Deaquan Dunham, age 25, of Hempstead, NY, asleep behind the wheel of a 2015 Mercedes Benz, which was parked in the right entrance lane of Exit 13 of the Southern State Parkway.
