By A 35-year-old Lakeview woman allegedly tried to steal a Nassau County woman's house by forging ownership documents. Nassau County Fraud and Forgery detectives said 35-year-old Aurelia Soogea of Lakeview was charged with grand larceny after an investigation revealed she allegedly forged a 78-year-old woman's signature on transfer of ownership documents with the Nassau County Clerk. Police said the victim received a letter from the county clerk that paperwork to transfer ownership of her house had been received.
